Our park features mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and more that all have one thing in common:
They all love the ocean.
Two-thirds of the Earth is covered with water. The largest portion of that is salt water; and is called: the marine world. All seas and oceans are part of that enormous marine environment. And a countless number of animal species found here a home.
Niörd Seafari strives to bring this huge, magnificent world to your premises. So if I were you, I would start exploring this site and discover for yourself why a visit to Norway and Niörd Seafari is something you have to do at least once in your life.
History
It all started with a dream.
Nine young people shared a dream. A dream that combined their love for the oceans and for every animal, big or small you can find on our blue planet.
Following that dream; the main goal of Niörd Seafari is conservation rather than exhibiting; rescue and rehabilitation rather than entertainment. Here the animals are the most honored guests.
Now, more than ten years later, Niörd Seafari is one of the largest marine parks of the world; housing more then hundred different species from every ocean and sea. And is one of the biggest leaders when it comes to the protection of the oceans and its wildlife.
